I have double-checked and triple-checked the MAC addresses and am 100% certain they are correct. All drivers are up-to-date.ĭepicus' Monitor tells me that the Magic Packet is properly sent and received, but the computers don't turn on. I've read on other forums that I should try disabling "Energy Efficient Ethernet" (which I've done), and that I should enable "PME", but that isn't an option given on any of the drivers I have. On all five of these PCs, Wake On Pattern Match and Wake on Magic Packet are enabled under the "Advanced" tab of the network driver configs, and all of the boxes are checked under "Power Management" so that "Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer" is enabled.

I have been using Depicus' marvelous WoL tools (GUI & Monitor will eventually use the script once I figure out what's going wrong) found here: Both running Windows 7 Pro.Ĭurrently, I am using a server on the same network to try and wake these computers.

Should be simple enough, but I'm running into some issues that I think are due to my network (but I'm not sure).ģ Dell Optiplex 9010s all running w/ an Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network Adapter driver & Windows 8.1 Pro.Ģ HP TouchSmart 9300 Elites one with a "Realtek USB EE Family Controller" and the other with a "Realtek 8111EDL Ethernet Connection" driver. I'm trying to run a script to wake some computers on my network up from their Shut Down state.
